PE-II - NO EXTENSION

Probably that's true.But what will happen to those who has qualified one group and has completed Articles training?.Will such students be allowed to appear in the remaining group in PCC in November '09?.In case one has to register for IPCC,one has to do so before 31st July failing which one can appear in November next year.What will happen in case results come after 31st July?.A lot of confusion has been created by this among no so lucky students' community of CA.Anybody having answers to the above doubts please clarify at the earliest.

As there is no mention about the PE-II exam in the notification for the Nov 09 exams published by ICAI on 9-7-2009 it is likely that there will be no more extension of PE-II exam. Therefore the option is either to switchover to PCC or IPCC.

Yeah that we know.But will students who has cleared any one group and has completed Articles can appear  in PCC in the November'09 term?.What will happen if one wants to switch over to IPCC as last date is 31st July and there is no hope of the results coming out before 31st July.Please inform about these points specifically.

Hi Please clarify about PCC or IPCC. bcz iam PE11 category. What is the procedure? I have completed my articleship & Elezibility tests.

don't think or anaylise too much................ go for a long holiday.........come after long holiday and see ICAI stands on this issue

as there   is nothing  mentioned about the pe ii exam in the present   notification    so what those   students who have joined the ca on the basis of graduation  and have exhusted five attempts   then what they will do either they will join pcc  or ipcc    plz      help   me   regarding these .

they will join ipcc, which completing 1st group can join for articles.the attempt is in may2010......

if they join pcc, but dont know the duedate of pcc its there or not, if they can join for pcc then there attempt will be nov 2009 only.....all the best..

 totally confusion. Please clarify by the institute. 

 Dear friends don't worry you guys will have to appear in one group only if you have passed the other 

Likewise you will also get the benefit of exemption if available to you under PCC scheme

Waiting for IPCC attempt is just like killing your time in CA course(which is already so long)

I am a pe-ii student(through PE-I stream)...i gave PE-II EXAM in june 2009...i am hoping to clear...suppose i dont clear (GOD FORBID IT HAPPENS) CAN'T I WRITE PCC EXAM IN NOVEMBER 2009...????

ONE MORE POINT...... SUPPOSE I REGISTER FOR PCC NOW(BEFORE RESULTS) AND AFTER THE RESULTS COME I CLEAR  PE-II  WILL I BE ELIGBLE TO REGISTER FOR FINAL....WILL MY PCC REGISTRATION STANDS CANCELLED...?

PLEASE HELP...???

 Extension had been already granted for Nov08 & June09 attempts...ICAI cant jst give extensions after extensions...after all, Pe2 has to be phased out. 

@ Surendran Sanyal : It's wise to wait for the results rather than jumping into the Pcc boat now. This one cud actually be ur lucky attempt...! And its imperative that u cant be a CA Pcc student after passing PE2 (if one uses a little common sense). So ofcourse the Pcc regn will be canceled and you will be eligible to enrol for Finals. i.e the above applies if u take admission for pcc b4 the result.

And Who Has Said that u wont pass in June2009?!!? By the way, how many more extensions would you desire for?
