PCC EXAMS in JUNE or MAY

I think it will be in june due to the elections... it is said that the institute is waiting for conformation from the examination centres for availability...

If u come to know any confirmation in this regard please post it...

Don't follow rumours. hav patience ICAI will issue in advance. prepar with normal time line ONLY!

Now onwards pcc and final exams will be held in june and december. Institute has issued letters to all the branches of ICAI and CAs in this regard. And the dates are

PCC : June 2,4,6,8,10,12  Time  1 PM to 4 PM

Final : June  1, 3,5,7,9,11,13,15  Time 1 PM to 4 PM

Hi ravi. Are you very sure about it? Because i dint find any notification and announcements in ICAI  website. can you prove the authenticity of this information?????

Yes, I got this information from the alwar branch of ICAI. They have displayed, on their notice board, a letter  issued by ICAI to all the branches for getting the availability of examination center. ICAI has issued this letter to CAs also. (you may get this letter from your office too.) They have mentioned several reasons for changing the examination schedule. one of them is Upcoming Parliament elctions and the second one is, that their is more workload during march and october and most of the trainees remain on leave for preparation of their exams. But after this examination schedule atleast some articles may attend offices in october and march.

Yes this is also applicable for PE-II exams.

Hai Guys.. It's not yet Officially declared.. See Below the annoncement dated 21-01-2009... It's from the Institute's website... "Important Announcement Regarding Next Chartered Accountants Examinations - (21-01-2009) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Queries are being received from various quarters as to whether the next Chartered Accountants Examinations will be held in the month of May or in the month of June, 2009. In this regard it is clarified that the date schedule of the next Chartered Accountants PE-II, PCE, Final (Old and New), MAC (Part-I),CMC(Part I), TMC (Part-I) IRM, ITL & WTO examinations has not been notified so far and the same would be notified in the website of the Institute and also published in the Journal of the Institute in due course. but due to elections it may be possible that

pcc exams held in june

i have just got confirmation from ICAI's Gurgaon branch that exam shall be held from June.....exact date sheet may confirm to the one given by ravi..

then guys if exams r postponed to june then can i give my attempt in june 2010. registered on nov 10, 2008.

Hello friends!

In his recent satellite class, Parveen Sharma Sir said that it is 99% confirmed that our attempt (i.e. May'09),will be held in June this year.However,the Institute shall hold a meeting on 3rd Feb'09 to come to a final conclusion and the same shall be conveyed to all via the Journal/ Website.

So lets wait n watch!!

It's now official... It's in June 09.. See the announcement dated 03-02-09 in icai website...
