Can anyone let me know about PCC may 2013 exam?

i have checked notification issued for May 2013 Examination but it doesnt include any information on PCC.

I am not sure it has discontinued from 2013 or not. If anyone aware of this let me know.

I am 99% sure, that PCC will be discontinue from may 13 but notification would be th final one.

Nov 2012 was the last attempt for PCC students (https://www.icai.org/post.html?post_id=4525). This has also been confirmed in the Direct Scheme Form where there is also conversion option for PCC Students. Refer the last page of this form (https://220.227.161.86/27625bos-directca-form.pdf)

"PCC students who opts for Intermediate (IPC) Course.

Students may continue to appear in the last Professional Competence Examination (PCE) to be held in November, 2012 and thereafter shall be required to shift to Intermediate (IPC) Course in order to appear in Intermediate (IPC) Examination to be held from May, 2013 onwards."

And in recent exam notification for May 2013 there no such thing as "PCC". Only IPCC and Final.

Hence to be eligible to appear for May 2013 exams you have to convert into IPCC. Since you have completed your articleship or already completed 9 months of it you are eligible for May 2013 as you are already fulfilling the IPCC 9 month study cource requirement.
