For, FY 2016-17, I have been uploaded return on 31/03/18, without payment of tax, showing return as payable. Do i need to revise return after payment of tax?

NO need to pay any tax.
You will receive an intimation u/s 143(1) stating the amount to be paid along with interest orelse a notice stating the amount to be paid, that time you will have pay the amount now. Orelse you can pay the amount now also that will be considered in your return. You need not file revise return but if after paying still it shows payable then you can file rectification for the same.
