The change of address of the principal place of business of partnership firm form Chennai to Mumbai can be done by you by filing the form-II as below with the prescribed fees to the registrar of firms in Chennai, who shall note the same in the register of firms. Also publishing an article about the change of place of principal place of business of the firm in an English and regional daily seems to be a practice before filing form –II and affix the copies while filing the form with the registrar. Also a copy of Form-II also has to be filed intimating the registrar of firms in Maharasthra of such change in principal place of business of the Partnership Firm.
