Yes, when income is offered under normal assessment scheme.
Not allowed for deduction in presumptive assessment.
sir previously was it allowed to deduct from total income
Yes, always whenever income was assessed under normal scheme.
For presumptive assessment it was allowed to be deducted till AY 2016-17.
