PAN Correction

Few Years ago PAN Card is only issued by the Local Incometax Department office. But there is some Name and DOB mismatch found by our client now. i konw its too late but he wanted to change the Name and DOB for future. NSDL and UTI Department not accept the application for the same and they said to me that it is issued by the Income Tax Department so No Data is vailable with our Deoartment and they refuse my application.

Please Help me What to do ??????????????

Is there any online procedure or any thing else which will help me in this Problem !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is no such rule that NSDL can refuse it. Just go to any NSDL TIN facilitation center and fill in the PAN correction form and submit correct proofs of address and identity. New PAN card will be issued.

THERE IS NO SUCH RULE... U MAY ANYTIME FILLUP AN APPLICATION FORM 49A FOR CORRECTION IN PAN DATA. U HAVE TO ATTACH PROOF OF PAN EARLIER ALLOTTED BY THE I T DEPTT.

Yes. All are right.

Ask them to show the rule where it has been given not to accept the form.

Simply fill up the correction form 49A with pakka proof of both DOB & Name for changes

Name and DOB mismatch with what ?

have not he filed returns after getting PAN? what was his name and DOB in returns?

if the return was filed in correct name and dob, then share the other facts here, members will guide u step by step how to make correction without hassle.

You can fill online correction form, pay online and take the printout. Sent the printout alongwith your proof for correction to the mentioned addreess (at below of the form).
