Step 1:For making an application for a PAN Card, you need to first download a form from the link:https://www.tin-nsdl.com/

In case you are a resident of India, download Form 49A.

In case of individuals not being citizens of India, are required to download Form 49AA.

Step 2: After downloading the form, go through it thoroughly. You will require a recent passport size coloured photograph and any of the documents following documents as an identity proof:



POI means Proof of Identity and POA means Proof of Address.

Step 3: Once you have filled the application form, submit it to nearest PAN facilitation centre along with the required fee.

Step 4: When you submit the filled application form, you must mention the designation and code of the concerned Assessing Officer of the Income Tax department in the form downloaded by you. In case of any confusion, consult the facilitation centre which will help you with the details required.
