we are recently amended our Central Excise Registration No.  Now we are unable to make e-payment of central excise duty. As in the payment site it is showing the assessee code is invalid. But we can file the monthly return through online.

Please Suggest me for rectify this problem

amended means ? pan based registrations are unique and it will change the digit for additional place only, in case ur have changed PAN details, then get in touch with ur officer who has changed the details to update the details fast to their master records server.

you may do like this

PUT YOUR PAN NO after that put ST001 for Service Tax or XM001,EM001 for Central Excise Reg.no purpose.
