As per recent circular by the central govt, Linking Adhaar with PAN is mandatory. But in my cases there is name mis match in Adhaar & PAN.
Name in Adhaar is as per the documents I.e educational records (Without Sur name). But since sur name is mandatory for PAN its with sur name.
Now i am not able link PAN & adhaar due to this.
Need your advice/suggggestion in this regards.
With new option availble on efilling site ie. at
https://incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/e-Filing/Services/LinkAadhaarHome.
(add h,t,m,l, at last in single word).......... its very easy to link aadhar. (screenshot attached)
It requires to fill name as per aadhar card only (may be little bit different from PAN) ............. most of such mismatches have got linked..... try it.
