Hi,
I have paid the outstanding tax demand of Rs 3390 for AY- 2013-14 on 12 March 2014 online but still this is not removed from 'Outstanding tax demand' tab in my income tax efiling website account.
The outstanding tax paid for that AY is getting reflected in TRACES website.
Kindly someone tell me how long this will take to reflect or do i need to do anything else for intimating the IT dept about my tax paid?

Dear Sir,
First Check you challan if you have paid in correct A.Y. as many of them make such mistake while paying outstanding demand.
Second, Call on CPC bangalore no and you can take more info from there by mentioning specifiaclly your case to them.
I suggest you to wait for a month atleast in this case as you have just paid your taxes. Please give some time on it and then check your 26AS for the A.Y 2013-14. If the amount is shown there the demand will come to an end.

you do one thing send your all the documents to cpc bangalore through speed post
documents contains:
1. income tax return
2. tax payment challna
3. intimation of demand/ outstanding demand tab printout
4. copy of PAN
5. Covering letter
apart from this you must sent a mail to cpc bangalore for removal of demand
