Opt in for Composition Scheme

If a dealer registered in regular scheme and he want to opt in Composition Scheme in current 3rd Qtr but when assessee applied on the portal it shows composition scheme for fy 18-19 is disabled now.. like this type of message..

So my query is whether registered dealer is opt in or not for composition scheme for fy 18-19.

Please clarify me with the proper procedure and suggession.

As per sub rule( 3)of Rule 3 CGST Act
to switch from regular to composit schem e can done prior to the commencement of the financial year
Hence taxpayer can switch to composite scheme only at the begining of fy

You can change to composition scheme in the mid of the year, as it is closed for this year.
For next FY 2018-2019, you can submit online application for opting composition scheme at march 2018.(in march 2018. The gst portal enables the option to opt composition scheme).
