Online tan registration not available

From 9th Nov. onward this tan regn service will resume again

No information regarding the online registration of TAN in TIN web site. It is not available now. No more informations in Income tax websites. We cannot download the TDS file and defaults

Pl. share any information

Seriously  man....this is a real pain.... what to do ....help anybody.....ek to TIN website ne service bhi band kar di......aur doosra raasta bhi nai diya....

I've received reply from TIN.The details are as follows

Dear Sir / Madam,

We refer to your email regarding unable to Register / Re-register TAN. In this regard, we wish to inform you that with effect from November 1, 2012, facility of Registration / re-registration of TAN has been discontinued at TIN as advised by Income Tax Department. The said activity will be carried out by CPC-TDS Delhi of Income Tax Department (ITD). As per the information from ITD, CPC –TDS Delhi is expected to be operational by November end.

As regards the contact details of ‘CPC-TDS Delhi of ITD’ , the same will be made available on our website www.tin-nsdl.com upon receipt of it from ITD to enable the deductors to carry out further course of action.
