ONLINE PAN CANCELLATION

Cancellation is possible only if you have an extra PAN allotted to you by mistake or if you deliberately applied for more than one PAN. You will have to fill the same application form for Changes to PAN Data and ask for update to PAN Data for the PAN Card THAT IS IN USE AND YOU INTEND TO KEEP.  In this there is a column asking you to give details of PAN Card that is additional and you will have to send it with the evidence copy (PAN CARD XEROX or Allotment). Instructions are given at tin.nsdl.com

you may for on tin-nsdl.com there you will find pan services in that you select online apply for pan and then select changes in pan and fill the information and also the extra pan which you want to get cancelled
