Old and new sylllabus ..Comment on it !

Ravi (CA Final Student) (34 Points)

Hi all.

After appearing in Final Old syllabus in May 2010, Im convinced to say that "ICAI did foul play".

Grounds :

Accounts >>Why did the institute asked advanced question on AS-30 after specifically notifying that only definitional concepts will be asked.

Auditing>>Neither a single question was asked from NEW Standards on Auditing Nor from Revised SAs.                Then Whats the fun in notifying new "standards on auditing" in newsletters, RTPs, ICAI website.,

Differentiating Factor >>

I wonder why ICAI is differentiating between Final OLD and NEW students.

Just compare the Questions set under Old and New from same syllabus. The former ones are tough to crack (especially under exam conditions) while the later ones are NORMAL and SIMPLE questions.

This pattern is repeated in Accounts, MAFA, Costing. Infact this happened in NOV09 papers as well.

When students have the substantially the same syllabus, set same questions to OLD and NEW students.

Remember "RULE IS RULE, RULE FOR ALL."

This partial behaviour clearly reflects the foul play of ICAI, the so called Premier Accounting Body of INdia.

WHat do you say?
