sir, its bare act wordings... i dont have notification no.

i just wanted to check whether dividend received by me was exempt or not for that i verifed Exemtpin u/s 10(34/35).. in that i came across INCOME IN RESPECT OF UNITS FROM A SPECIFIED COMPANY... now i checked for specified company which is as per section 2 of unit trust of india (transfer of undertaking and repeal ) Act, 2002.. in that i read that definition and had this question...

Section 2 " specified company means a company to be formed and registered under the companies act and whose entire capital is subscribed by such financial instituion or banks as MAY BE SPECIFIED BY THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT BY NOTIFICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE for the purpose of transfer and vesting or the undertakin.
