What are the instructions for identifying obsolete, damaged, and slow-moving items?

For Damaged Stock check whether appropriate insurance cover is there
All damaged obselete and slow moving items are to be valued seperately and not to be mixed with good stock
For ascertaining slow moving and obselte items you have to find out the shelf life of the product
suppose product A has shelf Life of 12 months and is in stock for 24 months it is slow moving and obselete stock
