Sir I have gave yesterday IPCC accounts exam....but because of becoming sick in the exam center i attempted 40 marks and submitted the paper. Moreover I have 20% prepration for rest of the subjects. So I am thinking of not to give the rest of the papers. In that case whether i will be able to give exam in May 2014?? and what will my marksheet show???

Please give a reply

Hi Ajay, ur marksheet will show "Fail" as the result..for accounts, d marks u got wud be shown. For other subjects, the fact that u were absent wud be indicated.

Why not..Definitely u can attempt next May..The only thing u hv to ensure is that at the time of May exams, u have a valid registration(registration validity is for 4 years from the date of registration). In case ur registration expires before the exams next May, u hv to just revalidate the registration, which is a very simple procedure.

Get well soon..& no need to call me sir..Just call me Jithin : )

Prepare well & give ur best next attempt.  All the best for May 2014.

can anyone tell me the logic behind this formula in contract costing:

1/3 *notional profit*cash received/value of work certified
