Well, with less than 50% completion of the syllabus, the most likely result will be that u will fail. But if u skip this attempt, the end result will be effectively the same. Even if u don’t appear for the exams, this attempt will be counted. So its better you write the exams this Nov. Also u mentioned that u have completed 80% of the accounts portion. U do have a chance to score an exemption in accounts. If u hv completed 80% of the accounts syllabus of both grp 1 & 2, then write both groups so that u stand a chance to secure exemptions in both the accounts papers(remember, u will get exemption in a paper only if u attempt all the papers in that grp). Further, by attempting this nov,u will get a feel of the exams. That experience will definitely help u while writing the exams next May. What u hv to do is just revise whatever u hv studied upto now. Dont study anything new.

Since u hv studied only 50% of the portion, it is likely that in most subjects(except accounts) the marks for which u can attempt shall be in the range of 40-60. But don’t get disheartened by that. Write whatever u know in the best possible manner. Actually the exams this Nov will be an indicator of where u stand & where u lack. For example, if u score 30 out of 60 marks attempted in company law, that means ur way of preparation is good. U have to just prepare the whole portion of the company law in the same manner. Similarly, if u get only 15 out of the 50 marks attempted in taxation & u believe that ur preparation for the portion which u attempted in the exams was reasonably  good, that means u are lacking somewhere..maybe in the way u answered the questions(without preparing working notes) or there is some other issue..What I am trying to tell u is that by attempting this Nov, u will get an overall idea of how good u can perform in the exams..& on the basis of that, u can improve urself for the May 2014 exams.

So go for it dude. Give ur best & lets see what happens. Anyways writing the exams this nov isnt going to hurt u in anyway. So All The Best.
