NRI doesnot have pan card and just sold the agriculture land in india.Now want to tranfer money to outside india. He is having nro account. Does he require the pan card??? does 15ca/cb is require to tranfer money outside india??? what procedure he shud opt as now days PAN cards r talking time and his stay in india is just for 2 more weeks..plzz guide me..

sir i want to ask that can Income Tax Officer exempt NRI from filing Form 15CA?? is there any procedure through which ITO can give us relaxation??
Effective 1st April 2016.
The significant changes are as follows –
- Form 15CA and 15CB will be NOT be required to be furnished by an individual for remittance which do not requiring RBI approval
- List of payments of specified nature mentioned in Rule 37 BB which do not require submission of Forms 15CA and 15CB has been expanded from 28 to 33 including payments for imports.
- Form No. 15CB will only be required for payments made to non-residents which are taxable and the payment exceeds Rs. 5 lakh.
But not sure if the same conditions applies for NRI.
