Dear All,

If NRI buys residential property in India, should NRI get PAN first?

If after 3yrs NRI sell that property, what will happen with PAN or Without PAN?

It is not necessary that while buying a property NRI should hold PAN. after selling of property income earned in India will be taxed as per the provisions of the then applicable act & rules.as per the present scenario, it will be taxed in India and NRI can not transfer / remit the funds outside India without paying Income Tax on the Sale instance.
