Whether National Pensions Scheme deduction 50,000/- is in addition to 1.50 lacs earlier given under section 80C. Whether pension amount so deposited will be given back to legal heirs after death of member. Whether this scheme was already in existence or this absolutely new scheme.

Yes it is in addition to 150000,yes on death of scheme holder,benefit will be given to beneficiary.
The is extended scheme to provided to common people also.
