Dear All

M IPCC student......going to write Nov' 2012 attempt.......Pahle fail bhi ho chuka hu.............but karni hai Jaise bhi

So, want to start preparation right from the begining...........this tyme.

M lacking in Cost/Fm badly...........So should i prepare it through PADHUKA's+Scanner Question+RTP.......is it sufficient?

Attend classes for the subject twice... It vil solve ur problem

these are my humble suggestions for u out of my experience.

Start studying Cost and FM from now itself.

For costing follow Material, Jain and Narang book, Practice Manual and have a planned study bcause to vast portions.

See that u study each and every chapter by understanding the concepts give importance to theory too.

and another important point is costing s for only 50 marks, keep it in mind that u have FM for another 50 marks.

give importance for FM too. Fm portions are few and carry equal weightage.

For FM go for Material, Practice Manual, and Padhukas and as much as u can covering our syllabus.

In Fm they ask for Reverse working sums so go by concepts, See that U are strong in FM concepts and practice well.

Practice well. And Spend time for Fm also. Sometimes Fm s easy and can score well.

If u have doubts clear it with ur teacher and not by your own.

In all subjects they are covering each and every concepts so be alert and dont leave anything.

If ur r going to write only first group, if u have a planned, conceptual study u can easily get through.

Dont use Scanner while studying, it is only to check that how much u know the concepts which are asked in previous exams and that s only while revision.

Concentrate equally on other subjects especially Law, ethics and commn.

For getting the positiveness, do the following things

create patiency in yoursself,

I know, by going to classes, you are strong enough in the subject, but try to understand the concept required and apply your knowledge on the question.

Foremost try to understand the requirement of the question.

Ultimately will yield you good score in the subjects.

Pv ratnam...good book...but i insisted not paduka...for that u hv time for atleast 1 year...hwevr if u tk class then...it called as sone pe suhaga..

Out of my experience i would suggest you for costing and FM

DO UNLIMITED PRACTICE FOR LIMITED PROBLEMS.

These suggestion will surely help me this tyme...........Theory na padna was one of d main reason of ma failure in ma earlier attempts.

But this tyme will give equally tyme to the theory portion.

YA MATE SCANNER+PADKUKA'S BOOK WOULD BE SUFFICIENT.

CAN REFER PRACTICE MANUAL TOO.

MOST IMP. THING IS U R WORRING ABT UR COST/FM EXM WIC SHOWS HOW MUCH U CARE FOR IT.

U WIL DEFINATLY SUCCEED.

I WILL SUGGEST YOU TO GO FOR COACHING, BUT IF YOU HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE OF COSTING AND FM, YOU MUST START SOLVING QUESTIONS FROM PRACTICE MANUAL AND LAST 5-10 YEARS QUESTIONS( 10 YEARS BECAUSE INSTITUTE HAS NOT COVERED IN PRACTICE MANUAL AFTER LAST 5 YEARS,SO YOU SHOULD SOLVE THEM.
