Nov PCC Tax Doubt

I would like to know that, whether in November PCC Exam 2009 should we consider the new ammendments took place in budgets for Taxation Subject or should we consider old rates ?

Please let me know in detail, what are the topics that will be covered under new scheme, and is there any facility to know the new ammendments made with respect to taxation subject, keeping in mind the November 2009 attempt.

the exam u are goig to attempt is for the A.Y. 2009-10... so the budget proposals is applicable for the A.Y. 2010-11... so the new proposals will not be tested in the exam for nov 2009... soo study amendments and buy the book for the a.y. 2009-10 ... new amendments are very important for the examination.. dun skip

hii...plz do amendments of AY 09-10.....thats available in institute...if not i would sugest u to refer padhuka's..... i had also followed that for june exam ....& trust me thats a real good book.....purchase of AY 09-10

The Buget which came on july 2009 is for Financial year 2009-10 AY 2010-11. In No way its related to PCC Nov-09 Exam. For you Finance Bill 2008 is relevant. (FY 2008-9 & AY 2009-10) as my friend Sneha said Paduaka's i e G Sekar Book is Excellent you can refer that.

In simple language, Finance Bill 2009 will be Applicable for May 2010 Exam

You must consider the amendments since a lot of questions are asked regarding the same.

The indtitute issues a handbook on amendments relating to the exam.

Hi jhansi please dont get worried about the latest amendments dey r not applicable for u n wer accounts subject come no book other than your class notes n institute book is good considering the no of months u hv left in ur hand the best option will b 2 read watever u hv watever my Frnds hv suggested u is appreciable but u hv 5 more subjects 2 read n padhukas hv past 30 years questions which r not advisable 2 do at dis point of time according 2 me jus go thru watever u hv n specially module its a gud book dont go on size do smart study tc all d best

Hi Friends thank you all for your suggestions.

I got my query clarified with all your above expressions and also recently I met one CA and he told that for november exam these rates are not necessary, so only old rates will be applicable. And the new rates will come into force for May 2010 exam.

That CA told that whenever any ammendment takes place then it will come into force for the exam after 6months from the date of ammendment or date of budget. That means say for example, our budget is submitted in this month July 2009, so after 6months these new rates attract our exam, that means in the month of December. So we dont have any exam in december, that means it will be applicable for May 2010 exams.

Hope that all those who are in dilema like me have got their doubt clarified.

Is there any other amendments (Tax & Law) which are applicable for Nov IPCC & PCC Exams.

Institute Material was printed in Jan 2009. (As per Coimbatore institute,there is no supplement for this year).

hey frndz i hav a doubt regarding Audit, is AAS applicable in PCC Nov 09 or SA applicable, n v hav CARO 2003 to refer or CARO 2004 as for IPCC it CARO 2004 in portion so i wanna knw wat is applicable for PCC 09
