Dear sir I have filed a income tax return for a.y.2021-22 I have a rebate on arrear of salary where I have filed rebate from 10E wrongly in a.y. 2020-21
but all data relvent for a.y. 2021 -22
now i have received a demand .
what can i do.

Grievance will not solve the problem.
Request for intimation u/s 143(1) or go to e proceedings, there is an option to download notices
File 10e once again and submit grievance to reprocess the return.
There are other sections which goes to e proceedings. The querist has not mentioned the details.
First try to get the intimation or demand notice and findout the reasons for it ..If it is due to arrears only then you may file the form for rebate and submit the disagree response
It will not work so easily.You hv to find out the reason for the demand notice check with original return and also chk 26AS.
