Hello

we have received notice from the Assistant commissioner u/s 142 (1), previous our case has come up for scruitiny and scruitiny and scruitiny is over. scruitiny is done by deputy commissioner . seniors can explain can AC can issue notice u/s 142 (1) asking information which scruitiny is already over.

These sought of cases does not happen often. In your case it might have happened as the earlier AO who conducted scrutiny might have got transferred, and the 142(1) now received might be issued by a new AO.
