One of my client received notice for a mismatch in purchase amount wrt to audit report and his accountant didn't matched with Form 26AS. Now he got a notice frm department seeking penalty for the left out purchase. DO we have some sort of relief framework in this scenario. Kindly share your suggestion.

We as Tax Consultant are here to help our client and try to save them with harsh penalty. Just saying " No option left" doesn't solve the matter. I am working on this issue and posted here to get some positive case scenario to help.
