can any body assist me that under what provisions different notes in AGM notice of Listed company is given:-- like details of book closure, dividend, unpaid dividend, proxy, ECS facility etc.

I want to know that where there is legal compulsion or it is just a practice.

For proxy it is mandatory. Kindly check section 176(2)—the word “Reasonable Prominence”.

For others I would say it is a practice which is a kind of compulsion by nature to help and assist shareholders and to avoid unnecessary correspondence and litigation over these issues with shareholders. So it is advisable to put everything in place for your own benefit.
