is there difference between "notice of resolution" and "notice of meeting" ? I want to know these two notices are different ? These sentence available in the Companies Act in the section 140(4) i.e. Appointing Auditor other than retiring Auditor.

Yes there is difference between two. Notice of meeting is discussed in the section 101 of the Act whereas notice of resolution is to be given in the statement annexed to the notice of AGM as per sec 102 if such business to be transacted at AGM is a special business
