Yes, File ITR U, as if original return was not filed.

Sir, filled it but not e-verified yet

Ypu need to e-verify the ITR U return now

What is the status of the filed ITR?

Isn't it 'INVALID"  ???

It Shows

" Since the return is not verified within the time allowed, same is deemed to be never furnished. "

It means you have to file updated return, as if first return was not furnished/filed.

Right Sir, but now 1 problem rise............... i want to file itr 1 for A.Y. 2122....... up to 550000 tax liability shows nil but when i just increase the 5 RS. in that ....it will jump to Rs. around 16000 tax liability .......... & unfortunately, i already paid 1000/- ...... now what to do......  ????/

You should be able to file ITR U within income limit of 5.50 lakhs. Try it.

It's not working Sir................ ........if i am not filled previous acknowledgement no. there then the tax liability is showing but though previous receipt no.( which is pending due to e verify )  is a mandatory to fill it......... tax payable is down to zero.............. ............

Yes Sir

We are also facing same problem.

In  everify tab it is showing as " Since the return is not verified within the time allowed, same is deemed to be never furnished."

But in ITR status , it is showing " pending for everification"  . The status is not updated as " Return Invalid "

So we are also unable to file updated return

It is technical glitch. Either wait for the rectification of the defect, till then file complaint under Grievances; or try filing the option as original return filed, but it is risky.

i have already raise the complaint sir but till not getting any reply .

not filling to possible as a original return ........ immediate error showing while filling............. ........

What I mean is, if uploading is possible by filing the column as 'original return filed', you may do that; but it is risky. Better wait till the original return get completely invalidated.
