hey dude ur 1 point of  cheap labour is ryt bt i do not agree 2 ne other points of ur's...

firstly of all if u dnt get jobs den der's sum FAULT in urslf no need of blaming our institute..

secondly if ders no calibur in u den no1 cud hlp u xcpt urslf 2 devellop tat quality in u....

thirdly i cleared ma articles last month n also cleared finals..

n i got job in a big firm (sry cnt mention its name here) vid a high package (approx 8.5lkhs)...

so nw u need 2 develop urslf instead of blamin dis highly valued degree...

Ameet. It seems you are intelligent enough. Try CS. You will certainly get a decent job in no time after getting ACS. Yes I can not say about a very high starting package (8.5 lack) but certainly you will get a decent salary. I am telling from my personal experience. I am a CS with 6 years experience and Just after passing I got a job very easyly (certainly at a moderate package. but at least no problem to head start your career)  and changed job 4 times in last 6 years to increase salary. Presently I am working at Dubai at a Remuneration of 28 lac (INR) p.a

However IIM is always the best option.

well amit is right to some extent

many friends of me who were appearing the campus placements are also suffering from the same

they call 1000 people and select only 150

wat about the rest 850? they have to see themselves job for them widout having any xperiance

really very sad to listen but yes it is happening around friends

i hope this recession perid gets over as soon as possble and companies shall start hiring again wid good package ( in 2007 second batch of campus plcement average was 8.5 lacs now in this 2009 first batch average is mere 3.25 lacs )

The job market is really bad now. My friend is CA with 7 years experience (2002 May term). He has lost job and sitting idle since 1st Dec, 08.

CAs are not suitable for employment. They are best for enterprenuership. So please start practice. There is no competition and the scope is unlimited.

I am not agreed with Ameet. If you are not able to clear an interview how can you blame the ICAI. I have done job for 5 years and seen lots of CAs cannot the clarify the basic accounting tests even the CAs having job experience. I was not CA at that time but I had to take their interviews and many had worked under me. Its just depend on your caliber man nothing else.

Its true that due to recession there is job cut in every sector even IIM are facing problem for job replacement for their MBA students.

So donn;t lose heart and try your best. You will get the job soon.
