In Maharashtra, August month starts with sever flood situation. Western Maharashtra was severely heat by flood. Satara, Sangli & Kolhapure were severely damaged. Whole shops, number of Office's were under 7 feet water.

Despite this situation, CBDT did not extend ITR Deadline to file the return. They have to increase at least 10 days by keep in mind this sever flood situation. If there is no document how clear ITR and AUDIT?

OTHERSIDE, GST ANNUAL RETURN GOT EXTENSION UPTO 30 SEP.

NOW, what will be the status who's whole shop, document, computers are under 7 feet water?????

GST Annual Return in FORM GSTR-9, GSTR-9A and GSTR-9C has been extended to 30.11.2019 and not 30th September 2019.

The ITR has already been extended by 1 month to 31.08.2019 by CBDT.
sure sir...... but how to file ITR when All documents are in water for countinue 10 days.....
In the absence of further extending deadline for filing return, even those rain calamity but no relief by CBDT.
Pay late fee 1000 in case total income upto 5 lakhs or 5000 if more. Helpless situation sir
Nothing can be done now...

You have to pay Late Fees U/s 234F of the Income Tax Act 1961 ranging from Rs. 1000 to Rs. 10,000 if Return is filed from tomorrow onwards. No other options. CBDT should have extended the due date only for the Flood Affected Areas. CBIC have extended the due date of filing FORM GSTR-3B for the month of July 2019 to 20 SEPTEMBER 2019 only for the flood affected areas. The same should have also been done by the CBDT.
