I heard from my friend that CA are not required to give CAT for doin MBA from IIM-C is this news correct.

who ever tolds you but it is false.
this news is absolutely wrong...they dont have such crap as eligibility criterion...!
this news is partially correct...CAs are not required to give CAT for a new course made for them (accounting professionals) & not for the famous PGDM programme
so its a different programme specially for CA n CS
