One of my friend want to file the ITR1 and is tax is nil. He has contribution towards ESI & EPF. Whether he has to show those in ITR1?
He will show Employee Profession Tax of 2400 under deductions u/s 16

His income is below taxable limit.
Yes, Then you can show the deduction in appropriate portion in it portal.
