What is the cheques validity?? is it 6 months or 3 months?? I came to know that cheques validity reduced from 6 months to 3 months. Is it correct??

Yes cheque validity is reduced from 6 months to 3months .................it is appplicable from 1st april 2012..........but i have one doubt in that if any on know plz reply here

or on date of submission i.e. after 1-4-2012 the cheque must be in 3months limit??????????/
