New vehicle purchase ITC
hi our one of our partner purchased new vehicle in the name of his name not a company name shall account this and can I claim itc. please clarify this

No,... ITC cannot be claim its block u/s 17(5) & also cannot show under firm Account as its not in the name of firm

but gst no mentioned in bill what can I do?
No ITC is on purchase of motor vehicle is blocked u/s 17(5), and if you are trading concern of automobile sector than you can avail ITC of the Motor Vehicle. In case no GST number is mentioned on invoice, you cannot take credit of it as the bill is not consider as valid evidence as it is not proper and ITC relating to goods is also not displayed in your GSTR-2A. So, considering all this you cannot avail ITC.

If the GSTN of firm is mention in Bill then show it under table 4 row "all other ITC " & at the same time Report it under Row Reversal u/s 17(5)
As the supplier has raise you the B2b invoice which is going to be reflected in your 2a , hence Report it in 3b as mention above .
Note : Yes you can book it firm as the bill is in name of firm , claim depreciation on vakue before GST (Tax)

If vehicle purchased in name of person, it will be treated as personal use. So No way to claim ITC.

मोटर विहिकल पर इनपुट टैक्स क्रेडिट केवल उन लोगो को मिल सकता हे जो मोटर विहिकल का व्यापार करते हो या उसका उसे ट्रांसपोर्ट मे यूज करते हे और कोई इसका क्लेम नही कर सकता भले ही बिल पर आपका gst नम्बर पड़ा हो।
