new DTC and GST application in ca exams

well dont yet know about gst since lot of tussele is going on between ministry of finance and states were BJP has governments...........u can read this say about every alternate days in newpapaer.

As far as DTC is concerned it will start from 1st April 2012 and hence it will be applicable for May 2013 exams and subsequent exams.So till NOv 2012(last attemp i guess for Income tax act 1961) u can study asmuch as IT act 1961 .

so what is advantage to study old tax act
