Dear Experts,

My certain Clients are registered with S T Department after July,2012 & onwards by getting ST-2 from Dept. under the Taxable Services '' Other than in the Negative List". Now as per recently circular No.165 Dated 20/11/2012 issued by Dept. for Restoration of Old Accounting Codes for 120 Specific Services. Now query is whether my clients has to be amended the ST registration by online filing the Amended ST-1 to Dept. based on the above circular & to obtain again Amended ST-2 or not. Please reply immediately.

Yes, as per 165/16/2012 -ST, Dated: November 20, 2012, Where registrations have been obtained under the descripttion 'All Taxable Services', the taxpayer should file amendment application online in ACES and opt for relevant descripttion/s from the list of 120 descripttions of services given in the Annexure.

Dear Experts,

The above Circular indicates that who are registered under "ALL TAXABLE SERVICES" are modify their services in online according to 120 list of services.

kindly clarify my doubt; Our service namely "RENTING OF MOTOR VEHICLE" is registered under ALL TAXABLE SERVICES w.e.f:01-07-2012 ie., RCM effictive.

I have to modify these service means under which catagory either sl.no:120 namely OTHER TAXABLE SERVICES applicable or any? pl give advise.
