Need study tips for taxation

Hello everyone! My IPC attempt is due in November '15 and I am studying by myself without any coaching. I recently started paper 4 taxation and am overwhelmed by all the sections and provisions we have to learn. Any suggestions about how to prepare for this subject would be very helpful. Many thanks. :)

Hy for taxation paper rely only on icai modules. First complete vat service tax n excise since around 30marks ques are asked from it. Then go to income tax n try solving maximum questions. Get a good command over deduction and total income
