Can anyone suggest me under which type/nature of payment does the deduction under section 197 (1) fall while payment of tds deducted under this section is paid by online challan.
Please guggest in this matter

Mr Krishna Chand,
TDS is deductible u/s 192 to 195 . U/s 197 reccipient can apply to the assessing officer to get a certificate authorising the payer to deduct tax at lower rate or deduct no tax as may be appropriate. All payments u/s 192 tp 195 will be covered under it. Querry not clear.
