Its quite common to hear your friend saying "Come on Bookworm, how much will you study. Stop studying else we won't talk to you"

But your case is "accidentally exceptional". You should rather be happy and should cherish the treasure.

On a lighter note, it may be that your friend is not your best friend, because "When you want to study, a friend will say OK, we will talk later but your best friend will just snatch the book from you and say abey chill maar, baad mein padh lena"

You're right. But the thing is, my friend said, "I won't talk to you, if you don't study"; but not like, "okay study yaar. We'll talk later".

There's a lot of difference between the two! Hence, it's my best friend :)
