one person running a business with gst registration as composition dealer had started another business of different nature . so he applied for gst registration on same pan as regular dealer
after getting of new gst registration he got a notice from government that Composition levy benefit on GSTIN :xxxxxxxxxxxxx is withdrawn with effect from 01-04-2018 as you are also registered as regular taxpayer on the same PAN.
so what to do
1.is there no way to be a person to be both as composition dealer and a regular dealer
2. if he changes his second gst registration to composition dealer can the first can be made as usual.

This type notice issued those assessees who Margret under GST from State/ Central Registration & take another GSTIN
As per My opinion, you cancelled New GSTIN and First GSTIN
Now Continue as a Normal Taxpayer.
You can't take 2 types of registration one as regular and another as composition scheme. If second registration is regular then first registration also becomes regular.
You can opt composition scheme when both your registration under one pan turnover does not exceed 1.5 crore. But the time for opting composition scheme for this financial year 18-19 is closed on 31 march 2018.
