Mother FD matured and recd by daughter after mother's death
An assessee received amount from mother after her death regarding FD matured. Is this amount taxable in the hands of daughter?

yes it will be taxable in the hands of daughter as it will be linked with daughter's PAN
But the mothers return will be filed by daughter as representative assessee right?
No you cannot as mother is no more and should apply for cancellation of PAN, daugther should file her mother's incorporated income
