Is this true that if someone clears all CA exams in just 1 attempt and some other student clears them in more attempts(maybe 2/3/4 or more) than the latter's value is lesser as compared to the former? Do companies prefer the former type of people?

I dont think so. it is only the matter of our attitude. moreover Job is provided on the basis of sound knowledge and concepetual clarity but not on the mark basis.

Yes that is correct at the initial stage. Companies will prefer the candidate who has cleared the CA in 1st attempt than candidate who has taken more attempt. but, no need to worry. Once you get experience this will be a secondary aspect for the companies. At later stage things which matters are your knowledge, your conceptual clarity & your understanding.

friend take a 1000 rupee note....fold it 3-4 times or more....than open it folds....is there any change in its value....similarly like a first attempt ca and a ca who takes more attempts....a ca is a ca...no value diminishes...just work hard...suceess will come 2 u 4 sure....also remember that one who succeed without trouble is a victory and one who wins with troubles is a history. :-)

Very much agree with Maya....
If you know the work and have knowledge of your work...nobody can put you behind in life for a long time.

ONCE YOU QUALIFIED FOR CA. YOU HAVE MANY OPPURTUNITIES NO NEED TO WORRY. AND SECOND THING IS IF ANY ONE HAD MANY ATTEMPTS THAT WILL EFFECT OF SALARY. FOR EXAMPLE IF A PERSON HAD 3 OR MORE ATTEMPTS, FINALLY HE CLEAR WITH HIGH PERCENTAGE STILL HE CAN GET GOOD OPPURTUNITIES. COMPANIES WILL SELECT UTMOST BRILLIANT STUDENTS....
I HAVE ONE EXAMPLE : ALMOST BIG FIRMS WILL TAKE INTERVIEWS CONTINUOUSLY. FROM THAT THEY WILL SELECT ""BEST OF THE BEST""..
IF YOU HAVE TAKEN SO MANY ATTEMPTS YOU WILL HAVE LOTS OF OPPURTUNITIES BUT SALARY WILL MATTERED..
BUT LISTEN.. IF YOU MISSED THIS TIME .. TRY A BIG HIT NEXT TIME
GOOD LUCK.. THIS WAS MY OPINION. LET US SEE OTHER CLUB MEMBERS OPINIONS

no worries ! most of the top notch companies do look for first attempts...but i have been told by a lot of experienced CAs that after a few years into it all depends on how good u r at wat u do... mostly PSUs have this as a rule that they recruit only first attempts but private sector (even good companies) are not so particular. . .
