Hi,
This query is regarding the Medical reimbursement exemption of Rs. 15000.
My employer is only accepting medical bills till Feb 20, but till then I will only have Rs. 5000 worth of bills. I am expecting the next 10000 worth of medical expenses in March.
Can I claim the rest of the amount (Rs. 10000) when I file my IT return, or is it necessary that the entire Rs. 15000 amount needs to reflect in my form-16?
If yes, since these days there are no annexures or attachments to the IT return forms, how will I show the proof to the income tax department for the rest of the amount (Rs. 10000)?
