Dear All,
I need to know if exps covered on baby fr vaccination during birth & for upto intial 6 months after birth are also included in the below mentioned tax benefit. How much can be the maximum benefit for the same case for Baby & Wife.
What all documents needs to be kept while claiming the dedn.

You can claim a maximum deduction of Rs 30000/- u/s 80D (i.e., Rs 15000/- towards your mediclaim policy including wife and baby & Rs 15000/- Towards parents in case they are not senior citizen) And as you are talking about Rs5000/- for preventive health check up deduction that amount is already included/considered in Rs 15000/- as you can claim for yourself+wife+baby.
And if you have to claim deduction only under preventive health checkup then you can claim maximium 5000/- towards yours+wife+baby+parents.

Dear All,
There is no personal Medical policy for Self or Wife. Its from Company side .
Have paid for Medical Insurance of Parent (app 40K annual )being a senior Citizen & also for vaccination of baby (app 15K in first 3 months).
what about the documents to be kept as evidence ??
