(only in case of filing as attorney,legal representative etc. it will change as per his/her capacity)

All the persons who file the return are assessees be it firm, trust, huf, individual etc....... but signing autherity (for this assessee) i.e his/her capacity.... can be Karta, Partner, Director, Individual etc...

if you are filing ROI in the status of
individual - self
huf - karta
firm - managing partner or partner
company - principal officer or managing director or director

ITR 1 requires salary (excluding all allowances, perquisites and profit in lieu of salary) then where to mention conveyance exemption under section 10?

One is required to fill the salary amount excluding all such exempted (& also taxable allowances) in this field......

So, deduct the conveyance allowance from the gross salary and fill the remaining amount in this column .......
