March Credit Note received now

Credit Note dated March'18 received by courier in the month of May.
Can I show the same in April's GST-01?

You got debit note from Your Customers and After You ll prepare Credit Note...


Yes... If You are not filed Your GSTR 1 return for the month of April then You can show the Credit/Debit* note in Your April returns...

Which date is mentioned in the Debit note and You can show after any date or received date...

As per your query You will show the Credit note date is in April...

yes you can take it as soon as received in the next month or within six monhts . the process behind this is that since there is no provision of revision of returns then how do we do it. so as soon as the fact gets known , you must declare it to avail the benefit. However , irrespective of the whether you can avail or not , you have to maintanin you books for Income tax purposes.
