If you think you have to be in company for so long to get good hikes and when jumping from one company to another looks good think again..now the time has changed as many leave the company on an average in 2 years..in finance the attrition is higher as acute shortage of skilled professionals..Mandar Dixit gold medalist through out is not an exception..he did his articles of 1 year in Deloitte Haskin& sells and for 1 year in HSBC as part of industrial trainee..after getting rank 1 in CA Final he joined HUL for BLT progamme..he was there for about an year and joined Mumbai top notch Sharp n Tannan about 1 and half year and quit this too to join Tata group..he was with Tata Motors and Chemicals for total 2  years..then he got high package job in Cadbury..he did not stop here and worked here for 6 months and finally joined Reliance industries Manager - Reliance Accelerated Leadership Program (RALP - Finance)..this programme of 104 weeks or 2 years is not like B school only classrom..but for exceptional performers and getting very high salaries..after few years the participants get very senior position in Reliance Industries..So now expect Mandar to be sitiing with Mukesh Ambani in board of Directors..;)for people who says CAs are nothing in front of IIMs think again ;)
