M&A career fro CAs

Dear All

I would like to know the career prospects for CAs in Mergers & Acquisition field in addition to other fields such as accounts, audit, taxation. How a CA should approach to this field? Please provide any Guidelines for preparation for entry into this field? If anyone has any diagramatic presentation as to what this field actually involves, is also welcome.

With due respect to your aticle in caclubindia forum regarding opening in leading investment banking firm i am sending you my CV . I am qualified CA who has qualified in MAY 2008 and my 9 months training is still left as i have qualified in 1st attempt.I am seeking training in finance particularily in wealth management, investment banking and PMS.And i can work in your bank if i can get training in my field without any limitation of time and salary package.

It depends upon what you are into there are number of firms who Practice in M&A like AMBIt also, in some KPOs and BPOs they have an arm called M&A where they recruit CAs
